Malaysian Education: Untuk Apa, Universiti?

Project Malaysia has just released a new article on higher education in Malaysia, written by the dashing Dr Azmi Sharom. He doesn’t discuss “the usual complaints”, but rather positions questions that are meant to provoke us into rethinking the role of institutions of higher learning.
For example, “are universities for training the mind or training workers?
A good read. I wonder if we should post these on university Vice Chancellors’ doors…
