Just Too Much

The PDRM has gone too far, if it does not clear the doubts and fears surrounding the recent death of A Kugan while in police custody. (If you’re not a Malaysiakini subscriber, you probably can’t watch the video. That might not be a bad thing, because if you did, you would be as infuriated as I am.)

Deaths in police custody has been a major stickling issue in Malaysia for a long time. Unfortunately, as long as PDRM maintains a patriarchal attitude and refuses to admit its errors, it will continue to be perceived in a negative light.
